Ida is a cute little 2 year old who gets along really well with our boxer Duke. She's been really great around all the dogs she has met at our apartment complex (of all kinds of sizes and temperaments) and she is really spunky with a lot of energy. She would do really well in a home that already has a dog or with someone who is willing to take her to dog parks or run around with her. She does really well in the crate and seems to be house trained, though the one time I left her out to go grab the mail, I could hear her trying to scratch at the door.

I am not sure how she is with cats or children. I imagine she is okay with cats (but cannot confirm) and she does like to jump on people, but she is quite light (maybe 20 pounds) so she is not likely to topple any children north of maybe 3 years old. She is still a little underweight but she will be larger by the time she fills out. She is not tall, but when she stretches out and reaches up at me, she can reach my waist, so she's pretty long for her size (and is quite a fast sprinter when she puts that length to use). I would imagine she will get up to about 30 pounds or so when she fills out. She can jump pretty high as well, more than I've seen cockers jump anyway, and much more like how my boxer jumps.

I have not spent much time with her to teach her tricks like “sit” and “down" and such but I think she has a pretty good capacity to learn said tricks. ike I said, she is a fantastic, curious little dog and would do well in a lot of situations.
