Tiny is a beautiful 5 year old female chocolate Cocker. She was in a home since she was a year old and was great with kids, friends and family. About 18 months ago, a puppy was taken into the family. Tiny and the puppy got along great in the beginning. They played, cuddled and slept together. As the pup got older, Tiny started showing signs of jealousy when the pup got attention from other family members. She would not come to anyone and she would pace continuously.
Tiny was prescribed an anti-anxiety medication but it didn't help. If she was next to a family member and the other dog came near, Tiny would stare down the other dog and go pee on his bed. After the vet ran more tests no medical issue was found. It was thought that Tiny was marking her territory and behavioral training was recommended. After spending a large sum of money, the training was to no avail. The peeing and pacing continued.
Tinyís owners truly want her to be happy and comfortable in a loving home. Because the youngest family member is so bonded with the younger dog, they cannot suggest rehoming him.
Tiny is just beautiful and was very happy and friendly toward us. She is beautifully groomed and it is obvious that she has been well loved. She is up to date on all of her shots and her heartworm prevention. She is crate trained and knows the basic commands. She would do best in a home as the only dog.
