Update for Sebastian!

Sebastian is approximately 6 years old, he was found as a stray, blind, emaciated and infected with heart worms. The vet did not hold out much hope for his recovery, but Sebastian proved everyone wrong! Not only is he heartworm free and back to a normal weight but he had cataract surgery and now can see! He did lose one eye because it was too damaged to save, but that just makes him all the cuter with his permanent wink.

When he came home from surgery I think he was overwhelmed, but it has been amazing to watch him grow into his sight. His new favorite place is looking out the window. He has been such a doll through everything, no fuss when time for eye drops or pills. This whole process has been such a great experience for us and we have been blessed to have him in our life while he healed.

Sebastian is very calm, rarely barks, good with people, loves walks and being outside, housebroken, sleeps with me or in his bed and is free to roam when we are gone. He is not sure about other dogs and past history revealed he has a thing for chasing cats so I think he would do best in a home without other dogs or cats. He has been around an 8 year old child and did fine. No experience with younger children but he is so easy going I cannot imagine there would be any issues. He will need eye drops because of dry eye and takes one half pill daily for his skin.

Now Sebastian is ready to go out and conquer the world so it is time to find his forever home!
