Hello, my name is Rocketman or Rocky for short. I am approximately 2 years old and weigh about 35 pounds. I am a very handsome boy! They say I am part Springer Spaniel, but I might be all Springer. I am taller than a cocker and have my tail. I have lots of energy and like to explore! I also like to get on top of things for a better view. You know, like counters and kitchen tables, chairs, and desks. My foster family calls me a mountain goat! I really like everyone and want them to play with me. I love to be chased! I sleep very well in my crate and will usually go lay down in it before bed time. I love to eat and have been known to get into treat bags, dog food and trash to get more so everything has to be put away so I can not get it.
I am potty trained now and will go out the doggy door on my own. I did not like rain and wet grass at first but now it is no problem. I still need lots of training but already learned to sit, lie down and shake. My foster mom has me in a barrier collar to keep me out of the kitchen when they are not home, so now and I will not go in but I might bark at it. I am pretty smart though, when it comes off I know I am free. I love carrots now and have some with my foster brothers after dinner. So crunchy!
I am very lovable and do not have a mean bone in my body. I get along with dogs and people! That is what my foster dad says! I would love to have other dogs to play with and lots of room to run, explore and chase squirrels. I have a very big back yard now and I love it! Apartments will not work for me. I ride well in the car and want to be right in the middle to see everything. I am a pretty good boy when it is time for a groom as long as you do not keep me too long. I have exploring to do! Just remember I am young and still have lots of energy so watch out! I really can be a great dog with the right family!
