From Gigiís foster Mom:
Gigi came to our home 3 or 4 weeks ago. She fit right in from the get go. My personal dog can be very slow to accept new dogs and she accepted Gigi immediately. She is laid back and loves to be near her human. Went to first meet and greet and she was cool as a cucumber, like she was born to greet new people. After we had been there a while and I thought she might be getting tired, a lady and young boy were petting her and she lay down and turned her belly up for rubs! I was shocked that she adapted easily to all the noise, smells, people and other pet adoptions. She was so comfortable.
I was told she was found as a stray and through the shelter, came to us to begin the next chapter of her life. She is estimated to be 7 years old, weighs 22 lbs. She lost one eye to glaucoma but has no signs in the remaining eye and she fought heartworms and won! She is current on HW preventative and flea meds, easy to bathe, good on car rides, walks well on leash, housebroken, good with kids, but not sure about cats. Apparently she was given people food in the past, but we have almost conquered begging. Secret... she does not like water bottles!
