Scarlett is a pretty 2 year old Cocker Spaniel with a cute freckled nose and a black & white coat.
She likes her toys and to her, every toy is called a ball. She is house trained and crate trained. She will go to her crate easily when her people leave the house and will sleep there at night.
Scarlett can be protective and will bark at people and other dogs when walking, but will settle when she is secure in her surroundings. She is very sweet and bonds with her family. She is said to be OK with older children but may require supervision at first.
She can be protective of her food and has been free fed in the past. She does not tolerate table scraps well and has been doing well on Merrick Grain Free food.
If you would like to meet Scarlett, please complete our adoption application and put her name at the top. http://dfwcockerrescue.org/ under Adoptions, Adoption Information.
Because of the current situation with the COVID-19 (Corona) virus, in-person home visits are not possible at this time. Since this is a very important part of finding the best home for our dogs, we are not accepting any applications from first-time pet owners or applicants who have not had a pet in the past 3 years. We hope you understand and that you will consider applying to adopt once the shelter-in-place restrictions have been lifted.
Our ability to rescue and rehome Cocker Spaniels depends entirely on your financial support. All donations are appreciated.
