Daphne was an independent and haughty little cocker that answered to no man or beast. She barged her way into my life on May, 30, 2000. I wasn't sure I wanted a cocker spaniel. Daphne knew differently, and quickly installed herself as my dog, and me as her person. She brought me 14 years of beautiful loyalty, friendship and companionship. We said our goodbyes on July, 11, 2014. The hole in my life and my heart is filled with warm memories of the 18 pound spitfire of a cocker spaniel that taught me so much about love, loyalty and living life.
