Fundraisers / North Texas Giving Day

This is King James. He LOVES DFW Cocker Spaniel Rescue because they helped him find his forever family. King James was adopted in July 2016. He moved with his parents and his sister Liberty (also a DFWCSR alum) to Germany last September. One of his favorite days is North Texas Giving Day. He knows the money raised during this important day helps save other Cocker Spaniels and allows them to find their forever homes too. King James is anxiously counting the days until he can log onto his computer and make his donation.

You clicked. You got on Facebook and shared posts. You forwarded newsletters. You sent emails. You encouraged your friends and family. You went online to North Texas Giving Day's website.

As always with your compassionate souls and generous hearts you opened up your piggy banks and gave and gave and gave. Those financial gifts were enhancement throughout the day and it adds up to a successful receiving day for DFWCSR. Together, Cocker Spaniel Nation donated 166 gifts totaling $15,050! Plus our Challenge Funds were met! Just think how many Cocker Spaniel lives are going to be saved because of you! From the tip of our nose to the nubs of our tails, DFW Cocker Spaniel Rescue thanks you for participating in the 9th annual North Texas Giving Day. (This total does not include the bonus funds added to our final total from NTGD's sponsors.)

And an extra big thanks to our 2017 Challenge Fund donors: Jerry & Sheila Brown, Sir Inky of GlenHills, Sue Bliss, Diane Shaw, Michael & Paula Knight, Celia & Don Hirschenhofer, Cocker Spaniel Specialty Club of Dallas, Dale Carlton, Janet Skinner, Jeanne Russell, Texas Plumbing, Clarence & Martha Callaway, Debbie Stout, J.W.
