About

I’m Artur, I’m 8 years old but don’t let that fool you!  I have the spunk and energy of a much younger pup.

I haven’t met a toy I didn’t like. I love to see what’s inside of them and when I’m finished it’s a white fluffy winter wonderland. If you’ve been gone, even for a few minutes, I’m so excited for your return, I run around the house, grab a toy and want to show you what I’ve got! I love going on walks and I’m happy to see others. I get a little excited and I pull on my leash, but I could easily overcome this with more practice.

I’m a sweet boy who loves his ears rubbed, I’ll let you do that all day long. I am content on the go, playing fetch, or just being near my people. I’m learning how to share, but it’s not my favorite thing. I prefer all the love and attention and all the toys. My fosters think I’d be prefect for a home where I get all the love! That said, I would do best in a home with older children, 12+.

I’d be perfect for someone without shared walls (apartments) because when my people leave, I tend to be a bit vocal. I don’t like being alone I and will scratch at the door to make sure they don’t forget I’m on the other side.

I have normal Cocker health issues with occasional allergies and ear infections, but no other health issues are known. I have all my vaccinations and neutered. Despite having a water bowl, the water from the toilet is my preference. My fosters keep ruining all the fun by putting the lid down. I’m house trained and will scratch at the door to let you know I want to go out.

The adoption donation to win my heart is only $125. If you think you have the perfect home for me, please send the nice folks at DFW Cocker Spaniel Rescue your application.

If you would like to meet Artur, please complete our adoption application and put his name at the top.  Our application and detailed info about our process can be found on our website here: https://dfwcockerrescue.org/adoption-process/
