Bonnie Blue

About

If you’re looking for a dog that will be your best pal, Bonnie may be the perfect match! This one-year-old is a very sweet, spunky, happy girl. Bundled into this adorable package is a whole lot of cute personality.

Bonnie is whip smart and learns quickly. She loves to be outside. Anytime the door is opened, she is ready to go and expects her people to come right along with her. She enjoys zipping around or helping with perimeter checks. She can settle down inside the house just as nicely for some cuddling and down time. The fluffy top of her head is softer than bunny fur, and she loves to have it rubbed while she rests beside you.

Bonnie is wary of meeting new people and will bark to notify her humans. She is a little slow to warm up, but when she does, she wants to be best friends. Bonnie is seeking a home with another laid-back dog or maybe where she will be the only dog. She appreciates having most of the attention and pampering for herself.

Bonnie is a girl who will wiggle right into your heart. She’s very curious and playful. The sound of a new squeaky toy is guaranteed to capture her attention. She loves treats and will take them gently. Her greatest pleasure is being around her humans, and she is always ready to provide companionship. She has adjusted well to a regular schedule and is ready to meet her forever family to start her new life.

Bonnie is one year old, spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped, and weighs about 16 pounds. She is recovering from cherry eye surgery and will continue to improve over time.

If you would like to meet Bonnie, please complete our adoption application and put her name at the top. Our application and detailed info about our process can be found on our website here: https://dfwcockerrescue.org/adoption-process/
