Say Hello to Petey!
Petey is the last of 4 dogs saved from a puppy mill last month. He is 2 years old, weighs 22 lbs and has a chocolate merle-ish coat that gives him sort of a blue heeler look.
He was very unsure and scared when rescued and he has moments when he doesn’t want to leave his kennel, but he’s slowly beginning to explore his surroundings and has become quite attached to his foster dad. We will post updates as he adjusts to his new life in a real home.
Petey, Cindy, Janie and Marcie will be featured on the upcoming North Texas Gives to Animals campaign from May 15 through May 31. Details to follow.
