About

🐾 Pupdate on Wyatt:

Wyatt is doing very well. We just came in from a walk and he is really enjoying learning about a world much larger than he knew before. I just got a cross-body leash that Kerrigan can walk on while I focus on keeping Wyatt from twisting and pulling. He is not scared of anything other than the water hose, but we don’t know that history. He politely meets new people. He’s finished his neuter surgery and is working on housetraining. There was a little separation anxiety in the first couple of weeks if I walked out (to the garage or front yard), but he is smart and is starting to understand he will not always be allowed to follow me outdoors.

Introducing Wyatt

Wyatt is a 4-year-old, stunning sable merle parti who weighs about 25-28 lbs. He has a sweet temperament to go with his good looks and he is a perfect gentleman when being groomed. He is up-to-date on rabies and is microchipped.

Wyatt is usually reserved, quiet and gentle, but he can be protective when there’s food involved. He is also able to climb over a 5’ fence, so sturdy reliable fencing will be required.  He does OK with kids and other dogs, but no cats. He is crate trained and will come when called, but will need basic obedience training (leash, house training, etc.). When he goes to his forever home he will be sent with some belly bands!

Wyatt is currently enjoying life in his foster home and will be available for adoption soon. We will update as we learn more about him.
