Introducing Sparky!
Last week we were contacted about an adorable 7-month-old Cocker Spaniel in need of rescue. After visiting him at the shelter, our volunteer easily fell in love with his sunny disposition and named him Sparky.
During our visit Sparky was playful and curious about toys in the play yard. He was friendly and jumped up to greet our volunteer right away. He was receptive to being petted and enjoyed playing.
Sparky’s challenge: He has some health issues that will need time and attention. One of his ears has been badly injured and will need extra medical attention. He is not putting weight on his right hind leg, though he hasn’t let that slow him down. DFWCSR will address these challenges when he is vetted and do what we can to help Sparky return to his best health.
Sparky has a very sweet, friendly and happy personality. He is easy to handle and will likely thrive in a caring home committed to helping him heal and reach his full puppy potential.
