A very neglected Asher came to DFWCSR after being surrendered to a shelter because someone “didn’t see the point of a dog that couldn’t see or hear.” We soon realized that Asher is the sweetest little old man you could ever have the pleasure of knowing.
His hobbies include snuggling, napping and simply being near people. His favorite daily events are breakfast and dinner. He loves curling up in a cozy dog bed with a soft blanket he can burrow and dig around in, and nothing makes him happier than rolling around in fresh, wet grass. Asher truly just wants to be part of the family. Although he is both deaf and blind, he navigates life with remarkable confidence.
Asher is now in a loving foster home where he can spend his golden years lounging beside his favorite humans, enjoying snacks, taking long naps, and soaking up all the love he can get.
