About

Meet Asher, the sweetest little old man you’ll ever have the pleasure of knowing.

If you’re looking for a best friend whose favorite hobbies include snuggling, napping and simply being near his people, Asher is your guy. He wakes up every morning wagging his adorable nubby tail, excited to start another day by your side.

Asher is a master napper (we’re talking Olympic-level, 6-hour naps), and his favorite daily events are breakfast and dinner. He loves curling up in a cozy dog bed with a soft blanket he can burrow and dig around in, and nothing makes him happier than rolling around in fresh, wet grass.

This easygoing gentleman gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs. He’s easy to groom, has a calm temperament, and truly just wants to be part of the family.

Although Asher is both deaf and blind, he navigates life with remarkable confidence. We affectionately call him our little Roomba because he likes to explore a new space by bumping into a few things while he maps it out. Once he’s learned the layout, he’s off and running like a pro. His nose is especially impressive—he can smell us the moment we walk through the door, and his little tail starts wagging with pure joy.

Asher loves being included in everything. If he wakes up and can’t find his people nearby, he may let out a howl to check in and make sure he’s not missing out on the fun. He simply wants to be close to the people he loves.

Most importantly, Asher is one of the happiest, gentlest dogs you’ll ever meet. He doesn’t growl, bite, or create chaos. He’s just looking for a loving home where he can spend his golden years lounging beside his favorite humans, enjoying snacks, taking long naps, and soaking up all the love he can get.

If you’re searching for a loyal companion with a heart of gold, Asher is waiting to meet you!
