Introducing Bartleby
Bartleby is a handsome 2-3 year old Cocker Spaniel who came to DFWCSR after being found as a stray. He was found dirty and matted but after a bath and some essential grooming he’s showing a nice red buff coat.
At the time of his intake and he was anxious and a bit overwhelmed. He barked when he saw new people or dogs, but his body language was friendly with a wagging tail. He relaxed after being offered treats and enjoyed a few pets and scratches.
In his new foster home Bartleby is moving and grooving. He’s full of energy and ever inquisitive. He’ll be undergoing neutering and cherry eye surgeries in the coming month but for now he’s working on leash manners and socialization.
We will post updates on his progress as we get to know him, but today, let’s have a big DFWCSR WELCOME for Bartleby!
