About
Due to the current situation with the COVID-19 (Corona) virus, in-person home visits are not possible at this time. Since this is a very important part of finding the best home for our dogs, we are not accepting any applications from first-time pet owners, applicants who have not had a pet in the past 3 years, or applicants who cannot furnish vet records. We hope you understand and that you will consider applying to adopt once restrictions have been lifted.
Dublin is a firecracker! This young boy has had a rough start to life but has the energy to turn it around with the help of a foster or adopter. This sweet freckle face is about 3 years old. He is very friendly.
Dublin came to DFWCSR from Mexico where he hadn’t been given any training. He needs someone willing to teach him potty training, basic manners, how to walk on a leash, etc. He also needs a yard to run and play in. He is very curious about other dogs but like in other areas doesn’t have great “dog manners” so another dog who would be patient with that would be ideal. As with many dogs who have had to make it on their own, Dublin can be too enthusiastic with food and needs help learning to take treats nicely.
Someone who is willing to invest some time and energy in Dublin will be rewarded with a playful, happy boy.
