Franklin is deserving of a big welcome to DFWCSR!
This handsome boy is another of the 5 dogs rescued from a breeder last month. Franklin is 4 years old and weighs in at a mere 15 lbs. Hopefully we can put a few pounds on him as he settles into his foster home.
Franklin is slowly coming out of his shell and doing well. Because his sight is impaired quite a bit, he has had a consult with an eye specialist. He was diagnosed with bilateral cataracts and is a good candidate for surgery, so we will wait until his general condition is improved before addressing that.
It will be a while before Franklin is ready for adoption, so for now he will be enjoying his new life and beginning the journey to his future forever home. We will update on his progress.
