Update on George, 3/23/25
George is currently settling in with his new foster family. He will soon begin training in his new environment to learn boundaries and consistent, calm behavior, which will prepare him for life in a caring, permanent home.
George is a 3-year old Cocker Spaniel boy with a fair amount of youthful energy. He has a soft buff & white coat and weighs in at 29 lbs. He enjoys hanging out on the couch and rides well in the car. He likes to chase the toys you throw and will swap the one he has for the next one.
Based on our experience with him, George would do best in a home with adults who have prior experience with dogs, and no young children. He has not shown reactivity to other dogs, but we don’t know about cats.
George is slow to warm up to new people, so he will need quiet and space as he settles in to his new home. For now, no visitors coming to see him until he is comfortable with his people and his surroundings.
We will post updates about George’s progress as he learns skills that will help him make the transition into his future forever home.
