About
Grace is a true survivor! She was found as a stray in need of medical care, and while a large mass was initially concerning, testing revealed the great news that it was benign. Since being spayed, the hormone-related mass has shrunk as expected and she now enjoys good health and contentment.
This sweet senior cocker spaniel has a calm, gentle soul. She has a laid-back approach to life and gets along beautifully with both people and other dogs. Grace loves to snuggle and enjoys being brushed. Because incontinence remains a lingering issue, she wears a doggie diaper while indoors. Despite this, Grace’s happy spirit never wavers. She is a lovely dog who is eager and ready to find her forever home.
If you are hoping for a sweet, steady companion who brings joy without the chaos, Grace is your girl. It won’t take long to fall in love with her loyal, loving spirit. She is ready for a soft place to land and a home where she can be adored for all that she is—a resilient pup with so much love left to give.
If you would like to meet Grace, please complete our adoption/foster application (they’re the same) and put her name at the top. Our application and detailed info about our process can be found on our website: https://dfwcockerrescue.org/adoption-process/
