About

Introducing Grace

Grace is a true survivor! She was found as a stray in need of medical care, and while a large mass was initially concerning, testing revealed the great news that it is benign. Since being spayed, the hormone-related mass has already begun shrinking and is expected to improve over the coming months. Grace is feeling better, stronger, and ready to enjoy the comfort and happiness of a normal dog’s life.

Grace is a lovely senior cocker spaniel with a calm, gentle soul. She has a laid-back approach to life and gets along beautifully with both people and other dogs. Grace walks nicely on a leash, loves to snuggle, and enjoys being brushed. Her devoted nature and affectionate heart will make her a cherished member of any home.

Grace is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and weighs about 24 pounds. Her health should continue to improve with time, and she does not require any special medical care. She is housetrained and has no special dietary needs.

If you are hoping for a sweet, steady companion who brings joy without the chaos, Grace is a wonderful choice. It won’t take long to fall in love with her loyal, loving spirit. Grace is ready for a soft place to land and a home where she can be adored for all that she is—a sweet, resilient girl with so much love left to give.

If you would like to meet Grace, please complete our adoption application and put her name at the top. Our application and detailed info about our process can be found on our website: https://dfwcockerrescue.org/adoption-process/
