Due to the current situation with the COVID-19 (Corona) virus, in-person home visits are not possible at this time. Since this is a very important part of finding the best home for our dogs, we are not accepting any applications from first-time pet owners, applicants who have not had a pet in the past 3 years, or applicants who cannot furnish vet records. We hope you understand and that you will consider applying to adopt once restrictions have been lifted.
Jake is acute little 12 year old Cockapoo with a curly black coat. Below are a few words from his foster Dad:
Jake or Jakey Jake (what he loves to be called) is a sweetheart of a dog. Out of all the dogs that I have fostered I have never seen such a dog that appreciates the things that you do for him so much that you can see it in his actions. The day he got his new dog bed he just rolled around whimpering in it like he had just won a million dollars. His dark brown eyes will look at you like he is looking for your acceptance and when you finally give him attention he will return it with his love and happiness.
Jake is a senior dog and he does have special medical needs. His last check-up showed he was in 5-Star health, however, without specialized care that could quickly change. When considering this boy, know that he does need regular vet check-ups and daily medication. Being a senior special needs dog, your time with him may be short but will be full of love and fond memories.
