Janie

Janie has already found a furever home.

Please visit Available for Adoption for our currently available dogs.

About

Janie is a cute 7 year old, 20 lb Schnauzer who was rescued from a puppy mill with 3 other dogs. She came to rescue very scared on intake and just wanted to be held close for comfort while at her first vet appointment.

Janie is now experiencing life in a foster home and making great progress. She is adjusting to routine and enjoying being outside on green grass, which is probably a new experience for her. She is becoming more comfortable with people and other dogs and enjoying her fosters’ attention.

Janie has finished her spay surgery and just had her first grooming. Once a vet gives her a clean bill of health she will start heartworm treatment, then a rest period while she relaxes in her foster home.

We will post updates on Janie’s progress as we get them.
