Due to the current situation with the COVID-19 (Corona) virus, in-person home visits are not possible at this time. Since this is a very important part of finding the best home for our dogs, we are not accepting any applications from first-time pet owners, applicants who have not had a pet in the past 3 years, or applicants who cannot furnish vet records. We hope you understand and that you will consider applying to adopt once the shelter-in-place restrictions have been lifted.
My name is Liam and I am about 16-18 months old. I am a handsome little ball of energy. I love to play with toys, chew on bones and bark at big trucks delivering boxes. I am already house trained.
On the downside, I love to pull toilet paper off the roller. I also like to eat paper- any type. If you leave paper stuff around where I can reach it, it will be mine. I am very protective of what I think is mine- paper, food, etc. I will growl at you and let you know to beware. I have already worked with a trainer, who says I am highly intelligent and learn quickly. I have an occasional temper flareup but with proper training and patience, I will be a great companion. I currently sleep on the rug by my foster mom’s bed. The two other pups who were here first are taking up all the room on the bed.
Due to my personality, I need to be part of a family that has no children in the home. I do get along with other pups, but I do not know about cats. I have a good appetite and I am very playful. You will no doubt fall in love at first sight. I look forward to giving you many Cocker kisses.
The trainer says that Liam is very smart and responds well to positive attention. He will be a good companion to someone willing to work with him long term.
