Pupdate: Emmy & Oreo are ready for adoption!
Emmy & Oreo are a bonded pair who have spent the last 8 years together. Last year their owner passed away, and since then they’ve been craving love, stability, and a forever home. Because of their bond, they must be adopted together.
Their hair is finally starting to grow back in—Oreo’s little curls are adorable, and we can’t wait to see Emmy’s full coat flourish.
Oreo is the sweetest, most handsome gentleman. He loves rolling in the grass and sunbathing. He’s incredibly easygoing, gets along great with other dogs, and is happy just being included in whatever you’re doing.
Emmy is a gentle sweetheart. She is deaf, so she can be startled easily at first—patience is very important while she adjusts. She’s the alpha between the two and even tries to run my household (my dog Bella happily lets her). If you have other dogs, it’s helpful that they’re comfortable with Emmy being in charge. She just wants cozy naps and human snuggles all day.
Both are food-motivated and will absolutely let you know when it’s breakfast or dinner time! They’ll sit in front of you until you give them pets, and would thrive in a calm, loving home where they can soak up attention.
