Percy is ready to find his forever home!
Percy is a charming 3–4-year-old Cocker Spaniel mix who is ready for a home of his own. At 26 pounds, he’s a great size and an easy addition to the family. His shiny black coat and long tail make him quite the handsome fellow. This carefree, easy-going guy has lots of love and personality to share.
Percy is friendly, happy-go-lucky, and always up for an adventure. He loves going for walks and hikes, playing with toys, and splashing around in the water. He enjoys his toys and is quite satisfied playing on his own too. He does well with other dogs and would enjoy having a playful canine companion.
An active home would be a wonderful fit for Percy. Whether it’s taking walks, exploring the outdoors, playing in the yard, or simply joining his people in their daily activities, he’s happiest when he has something interesting to do. He loves spending time with his people and enjoys being included in whatever they’re doing. Percy would do best with older children, 8 and up, who can appreciate his fun-loving nature. For all his love of action, he also has a calm side. He’s perfectly content to settle in, relax, and enjoy some quiet time with his people.
Percy would do best in a home where someone is around much of the time. He isn’t a fan of being crated, so a family with a flexible schedule or someone who works from home may be a particularly good match. At night, he is comfortable sleeping on his dog bed beside his person, although he certainly wouldn’t turn down a little extra snuggle time!
Percy is house-trained and did well with his foster family. As with any dog, he may need a little time to adjust to a new home and routine. He is a healthy boy who is up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped, and ready for adoption. Now he just needs someone to see what a wonderful companion he can be and give him the forever home he’s been waiting for.
