About

Do you love senior dogs?

Rosie — the sweetest, cuddliest little 9lb Yorkie mix! At about 8 years old, she still has the energy of a puppy with a ton of life ahead of her.

During her time at the foster home, her coat and skin have improved immensely with medicated mousse, and she has also received dental extractions to treat her tooth plaque. (Note: she will eventually lose all of her teeth.)

Rosie is a huge fan of her walks and outdoor adventures and will cry out of excitement the moment she sees her leash. She enjoys walking outside, taking car rides, rolling in the grass, and soaking up sunshine in the backyard.

At home, Rosie is a big napper and loves curling up on the sofa next to her human mom. When bedtime rolls around, she’ll race you to bed. Warning: she is a skilled jumper and will hop on all your sofas and beds!

This affectionate little girl is fully housebroken, friendly with most dogs, and we believe she will do well with children. She loves belly rubs, cuddles, and all the attention she can get.

If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who will fill your days with warmth and tail wags, Rosie is calling your name!

If you are interested in meeting Rosie, please complete our adoption/foster application (they’re the same) and put her name at the top.  Our application and detailed info about our process can be found on our website: https://dfwcockerrescue.org/adoption-process/

If you are already an approved adopter, please contact us at dfwcsr.adoptions@gmail.com.
