About

In Memoriam: Frio

It is with great sadness we announce that Frio has passed away peacefully with Sheila Brown and Kenneth Smiley by his side.

Frio came to DFW Cocker Spaniel Rescue in 2012 at 3 years old and soon became a member of our rescue family. It eventually became apparent that the benefits of a consistent daily routine worked best for his temperament, so he became a permanent resident at Barney’s Ranch, where he was well cared for. Sheila often took him for special “days out” which usually involved lots of TLC, extra attention and ice cream. He was known and loved by many at DFWCSR, and he will be missed.
