The Lowenberg family is heartbroken to let you know of the passing on January 12, 2024, of our beloved Rougie (formerly known as Paxton) Lowenberg. We adopted him from DFWCSR in April 2016. His age at the time was estimated as 4 or 5 years.
Rougie apparently had less than ideal treatment in his 2 previous homes and came to us shy and afraid of all humans and in treatment for heart worms. He gradually developed into the sweetest, most loving dog we have ever had. Fortunately he was not sick or in pain for long in his final illness. We pay tribute to him by sharing these photos. He will be with us in spirit forever.
