Sammy Bear

August 19, 2020 by

About

Sammy Bear came to us in early 2012 and was helped over the rainbow bridge after a battle with liver cancer on July 30, 2019. He was always so happy, loyal and loving right up to the very end. Our little professor has moved on and we believe the world will be a bit dimmer without him to use his big noggin to figure out the world's problems. Nonetheless the skies have gained another bright, happy star. We hope that in the great beyond wherever he may be, he knows that he will always be missed and no other could ever take his place.

Surrender A Dog

Whenever possible, DFWCSR will take owner releases; depending upon available foster homes. You will need to first Contact Us. If we can fit your Cocker into our program, we require owners to complete and send to us an Owner Release Form. We also ask for a $50 donation to help us with the various costs in the sheltering and adoption process.
